But Wait! What are HRCI Credits?
HRCI recertification credits are credits that human resources professionals can earn and apply towards their HR Certification Institute recertification. HRCI Certification shows that you are committed to a higher standard in Human Resource development. For more information, visit www.hrci.org.
First, Create an Account
To earn HRCI credits on DriveThruHR.com, you must first create a user account and be logged into your account.
Next, Listen to a Combo
Finding a Combo in the Listen Menu (Combo list)
To find a Combo, go to the Listen page, where all of the available Combos are listed.
Click on an Combo "Listen Now" button to get more details about a Combo and listen to it's two DriveThruHR blogcast Episodes.
You can use the Search, Sort and list Refinement options to help you order up just the right Combo. Be sure to pay attention to the type of HRCI credits (PHR, SPHR, GPHR, PHR-CA or SPHR-CA), as well as how many credits the Combo is worth.
HELPFUL HINT: While logged in and viewing the list of Combos, you'll see this "Credits Received" checkbox icon next to each Combo you've already consumed for earned credits.
Accessing Combo Details & Blogcast Players
The media players for each of a Combo's two blogcast episodes appear on the Combo Details page, when you are logged into your DriveThruHR.com account. Here is what the audio player looks like:

NOTE: If you are not logged into your account, instead of seeing the players, you'll see this:

Get Your Credits
To earn a Combo's available HRCI recertification credits and activate the "Get Your Credits" button, you must listen to both of the Combo's DriveThruHR Episodes. By default, the "Get Your Credits" button at the bottom of the Combo Details page is deactivated.
- Both Episodes must be played in their entirety to the very end of the media file.
After both Episodes have been played, the "Get Your Credits" button at the bottom of the Combo Details page will activate, and you can click it to access the HRCI approved program number and confirmation.
(You may also access previously earned credits and program numbers from your My Account area.)
You do not need to listen to both Episodes in one session.
You may listen to one Combo Episode and then return to the Combo Details page at any later time to listen to the second Episode and earn your HRCI credits.
HINT: When any Combo Episode has already been consumed, you will see this icon next to the Episode.
My Account
All of your previously earned DriveThruHR.com Combo HRCI recertification credits are listed on your My Account dashboard. Just click the My Account link at the upper right of any page to get there. You may also access any Combo HRCI Credit Confirmation page from the Earned Credits list.
F.A.Q.
Why can't I find the episode I heard a few weeks ago?
All our episodes are available at BlogTalkRadio.com. Our plans are to move all previous episodes to our new DriveThruHR website so everything will be in one easy-to-use place, but for now, only the Combos that have been approved for HRCI credits are on this website.
Where are my credits?
After you listen to an approved Combo, you will be able to click on the "Get Your Credits" button, where you will find the Program ID Number that you need to receive your HRCI Credits.
What if I already listened to the episode in the combo on BlogTalkRadio.com?
We love our listeners and are happy you are one of them. Unfortunately, because we don't have any way to track what you listened to on BlogTalkRadio, you can only get credits after listing to the combo here on DriveThruHR.com.
I listened to the combo, why can't I click the "Get Your Credits" button?
Make sure that you let the episode play in its entirety. The media player must reach the end of the file, so don't stop the player before it reaches the end. (But its okay to pause it!)
What if I don't have time to listen to both episodes at the same time?
No problem! If you listen to one full episode, you will notice a checkmark appear beside that episode. Our system will remember that you have listened to that episode, so next time you come back, you only need to listen to the second episode in the combo to receive your credits.
Can I get fries with that?
Yes. But trust us… you don't want us to cook them.
